Jim Ross Fuels Speculation Over New Promotion During Chris Jericho Cruise (VIDEO)

jim ross new promotion chris jericho cruise video speculation

Chris Jericho shot down rumors surrounding a new promotion he and Jim Ross are allegedly trying to get off the ground — but this video from his cruise will certainly fuel further speculation.

BroBible shared a video from Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea over the weekend showing a quick clip from the live recording of Talk is Jericho featuring JR and Jerry Lawler

According to BroBible, the trio touched on WWE attempting to stop Rey Mysterio from appearing on the cruise and Ross can be heard in the video saying “Somebody along the way is going to create another company some day and you’re not gonna have to worry about all that bullsh*t.”

As we previously reported, Jericho/JR are allegedly working behind the scenes with billionaire Shahid Khan — who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C. of the English Premier League — to make the promotion a reality.

AXS TV has already denied any involvement, despite reportedly being in talks for TV rights.

  1. I had suggested to Impact months ago that they needed to offer Jericho part ownership as he knows how to market a product and, from the look of things, they haven’t a clue.

    • Wonder if it’s possible JR and Jericho are working on a new promotion to gain a good spot on TV using their connections and name power, then absorb the likes of Impact and bring aboard the bullet club, etc. to cash in on the worldwide name.

May seem out there but never know, could be why the bullet club has been so quiet about their plans, why all of these folks are on a cruise together, or could be complete BS. Still would be an interesting idea, I think.

i just pissed myself a little

  3. Waste of time. Waste of money. Jaguars owner losing money on his shitty team that he volunteers to give away home games to London. Now he is going to give his son some mark money to throw away on another promotion when there is an oversaturation of promotions.

    Stupid idiots.

  4. Be careful with Jericho. He recommended Impact Wrestling hire Don Callis…

Under Callis, Impact is no longer on primetime and they drew 98,000 viewers in their new timeslot last week.

    Jericho is a stupid idiot.

    • Impact has some great wrestling and storylines going on currently. POP TV is the reason behind the low ratings. Put them back in a position like they were formerly had on Spike and they’d be doing great. They’re fixing the mess Dixie left behind.
