Jay and Silent Bob will soon be striking back once more in an upcoming "reboot" ... and Chris Jericho will be appearing alongside them!

Director Kevin Smith announced via Instagram that Jericho filmed a cameo in the movie last week. "[Chris Jericho] joined #jayandsilentbobreboot last week in a scene stolen from some of the 80’s road movies I grew up watching!," he wrote.

This is the second time Smith and Jericho have worked together on a film project, the first being the Smith's upcoming horror anthology movie "Kilroy Was Here."

"Both times, this super sweet Canadian kid has been cast waaaaay against type," Smith added. "If I ever get to make another movie after this one, I told Chris he’s gonna be a good guy (maybe we’ll finally do that Canadian James Bond comedy we talked about on the podcast that one time)."

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is about the duo returning to Hollywood to stop a reboot of 'Bluntman and Chronic' from getting made.
