Jeff Cobb is still working with Ring of Honor in 2020, but Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned he’s no longer locked down to an exclusive contract with the promotion.
Cobb’s ROH deal expired on January 1st and sources tell us he did not sign a new long-term deal, instead opting to work with ROH on a per-show basis going forward.
The 37-year old wrestler joined ROH in 2018 after a run on Lucha Underground as Matanza Cueto and went on to win the World Television title, as well as NJPW’s NEVER Openweight title.
Over the weekend, Matt Riddle shared a photo of he and his former tag partner Cobb with the caption, “Stallions since day one! We will reunite one day soon my friend.”
While Cobb may be free to sign with any promotion at the moment, we’re told the wrestler is happy with ROH’s current product and plans to continue working with them unless something changes.
