Jake "The Snake" Roberts has been hopping from Diamond Dallas Page's house to a hotel and back again over the past few months, but now the wrestler says he's moved out for a place of his own.

During an interview on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast, Roberts revealed that he's packing up for some fresh digs. "I'm going to Oklahoma," he said. "I've got a place there now of my own. So I can make my own rules!"

Roberts has been dealing with an evolving living situation during quarantine. Earlier this year, he was living with Diamond Dallas Page at his compound in Georgia. However, in March, Roberts said he had moved into a hotel after DDP gave him the ultimatum of isolating in the house or moving out. On April 11th, however, DDP announced that Roberts was moving back in! The two made for interesting roommates, which was often documented on social media.

It's unclear if Roberts bought the new Oklahoma house himself, but he sounds very optimistic about his future. He's excited to spend time with his extended family, which is something he says he hasn't always been able to do. "I'm going to start enjoying my life, man. When you're a wrestler, the joy that you have is in the ring. I can't do that anymore," he confided. "So I need to find my joy, man. And I think I figured it out."

However, don't think that Roberts is stepping away from his current role in AEW just because he'll be living in Oklahoma. "You just have to be smart with your time," he said. "So, two days a week I'll be with AEW. That leaves me five!"

It hasn't been the easiest year for Roberts, which is something he freely admits. But the manager has learned from his past and says he's excited about a new, busy path ahead.

"Jake 'The Snake' is running hard again, man," he boasted during the interview. "But I'm just getting smarter about which way I run."
