Jack Gallagher Released By WWE

jack gallagher released wwe speakingout movement

Jack Gallagher has been released by WWE in the wake of a sexual misconduct allegation.

The statement from the company was brief, reading: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Gallagher (Jack Claffley).”

On Friday, Gallagher was accused of getting a woman drunk and taking advantage of her at a New Year’s Eve party in 2014. Gallagher allegedly made multiple advances on the woman, even ripping and pulling down her skirt in a bathroom.

The accusation against Gallagher came out as part of the #SpeakingOut movement, where people have come forward with stories of sexual, verbal and emotional assault in the wrestling industry.

As you’ll recall, WWE released a statement which explained talent accused in the #SpeakingOut movement would be suspended if arrested for domestic violence or sexual assault and terminated if convicted. However, in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE, the company said they had the ability to fine, suspend or terminate someone immediately.

  1. It’s only a matter of time before someone outs Vince McMahon, too. Remember, Vince admitted on Howard Stern years ago he banged “anything with a skirt.”

  2. Forget Vince’s on-screen persona. In real life Vince is an obnoxious piece of crap. There is enough proof out there to justify me saying he is a hypocrite and a lying son-of-a-bitch. Just in case you don’t believe me I suggest you Google the following;

    Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka
    The Montreal Screwjob
    The Matt Riddle incident

    With Matt Riddle Vince released jack Gallagher because of sexual assault allegations made against him but did not release Riddle even though Riddle was also accused of sexual assault.

    I know of other issues that never became big publicly but they can be looked up.

    Vince wields his power as if he were a tyrant. I am somewhat surprised he hasn’t had the stuffings beat out of him.
