Double or Nothing reportedly almost featured an appearance from Impact champ Brian Cage ... but his employers but the kibosh on things.

PWInsider reports Cage was backstage at the show in Las Vegas prepared to wrestle, but Impact officials found out and informed him the terms of his deal state that he's not allowed.

Tommy Dreamer wrestled in the Casino Battle Royale on the pre-show and is a member of the Impact creative team. However, he's not currently under contract with any company.

Impact stars Scarlett Bordeux and Killer Kross weren't shown on camera, but they were in attendance at Double or Nothing and sitting near the front row. Both recently requested their releases from Impact and Scarlett unfollowed the company on social media.

Cage is set to wrestle Michael Elgin at Slammiversary on July 7.
