Former WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was just hit with another blow ... the Florida restaurant using his name will soon be shut down -- this according to reports.

The closure was first reported by ProWrestling.Net, and the owner of Hogan's Beach claims the shut down and hopeful sale have nothing to do with Hulk's tarnished image ... according to TampaBay.com.

Owner Ben Mallah told the website that the adjacent Best Western-Bay Harbor-Tampa hotel is also being sold with the restaurant -- but no sale is guaranteed until closing -- and regardless of what happens, the establishment would definitely be re-branded.

Hulk Hogan has no ownership stake in the company, and strictly licensed his name to the property.
