Today is day #435 of Brock Lesnar's historic run with the Universal Championship and his advocate Paul Heyman congratulated The Beast on the record-breaking accomplishment.
"Congratulations to @BrockLesnar for day #435 as the reigning defending undisuputed @WWE #UniversalHeavyweightChampion," Heyman tweeted about Lesnar's new record. "This is yet another historic accomplishment for my client, the longest consecutive-day tenure as a globally-recognized champion in the modern era!"
For those keeping track, Brock has now officially surpassed the record set by CM Punk -- who held the WWE title for 434 days and was the longest-reigning WWE champion of the modern era.
Lesnar's current world title reign is recognized as the 6th longest of all-time.
