The GLOW girls are returning to Netflix later this month and the character played by Awesome Kong -- aka Kia Stevens -- is featured in the trailer almost as much as the show's main stars.

Netflix released the trailer today and the show's account tweeted the caption, "We're back in black. And spandex, duh. On June 29th the GLOW must go on."

In the video, former Impact/WWE wrestler Kong -- who plays the character Tammé Dawson -- looks to be getting a deeper storyline this season. She's seen touring the Stanford campus with her son, who gets defensive when someone refers to his mother as The Welfare Queen.

Dawson then explains to him that all the characters on the show are offensive, not just hers.

We interviewed Awesome Kong back in January and the actor said the show would be delving more into the stories of the supporting characters this season, with much of it being shot individually.
