Fox has reportedly reached an agreement with WWE to begin airing SmackDown Live next year.

ESPN reports that the two sides have "agreed in principle" to what was described as a "massive offer" from the Fox network. The deal would go into effect in October 2019.

As previously reported, NBCU declined to renew the deal for SmackDown Live in an effort to retain Monday Night Raw -- which is expected to cost three times as much as its current value.

According to The Wrap, the deal is for Fox's broadcast network and not Fox Sports 1. They also claim that the show will be moving to Friday nights. Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter claims the new five-year deal is worth $205 million annually ... equaling more than $1 billion overall.

THR also reports that Raw is expected to stay with NBCU.

Both WWE and Fox declined to comment.
