Ring of Honor star Flip Gordon called in to Wrestling Sheet Radio this week and talked about his experience in Mexico during the recent 7.1 magnitude earthquake.
Gordon says he was in Mexico to work for CMLL when the earthquake hit and explained, “Literally everything was shut down. All the shows I was supposed to be on got cancelled.”
Flip then said that CMLL ran a bunch of food drives and he asked if he could stay longer to help out.
The 25-year-old also talked about the “surreal” experience of the earthquake aftermath, being barred from his hotel hours later and how wrestling brought people together after a natural disaster.
