Jon Huber’s former WWE tag partner Erick Rowan has shared a touching tribute to his friend in the wake of his shocking passing.
Rowan (real name Joseph Ruud) took to social media for the first time since news of Huber’s death broke on Saturday evening.
“Heartbroken and numb. Just when I think my eyes have dried, I think of you and begin to cry again,” Rowan captioned several images of himself and Huber.
“I have lost not only a friend but a brother! I struggled last night with many emotions and memories. Jon meant more to me than he will ever know,” he continued.
Rowan went on to mention all the time he and Huber — who was known as Luke Harper in WWE — spent on the road together as tag partners.
Harper and Rowan were paired together in WWE developmental as members of The Wyatt Family with Bray Wyatt. When the Wyatt Family parted ways, Harper and Rowan both had brief singles careers before reforming as The Bludgeon Brothers.
As a tag team, the pair won the NXT Tag Team Championships and the SmackDown Tag Team Championships,
