Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he and his family recently tested positive for COVID-19, but thankfully they're on the other side of it.

Johnson shared a video on Instagram where the actor explained that he, his wife Lauren and their two baby daughters all tested positive for the virus.

"I can tell you this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and for me personally too as well," he said. "I've gone through some doozies in the past. I've gotten knocked about and gotten my ass kicked a little bit in the past with some challenges, but testing positive for COVID-19 is much different than overcoming nasty injuries or being evicted or even being broke, which I have been more than a few times."

Johnson explained that despite being very disciplined about staying quarantined, he and his family got the virus from very close family friends who they had over. Since then, he's implemented new rules regarding having visitors over at his home.

The Rock went on to say that they are now thankfully on the other side of the virus and healthy.

He also stressed the importance of wearing a face mask around other people and in public.
