WWE has released footage of Drew McIntyre moments after winning the 2020 men's Royal Rumble match in which he thanks the man who once dubbed him "The Chosen One."

McIntyre was a guest on this week's episode of The Bump and host Kayla Braxton showed a sneak peak of his upcoming WWE Chronicle special.

The first clip shows Drew walking back into the gorilla position after winning the match. While receiving an applause, McIntyre approaches Vince to give him a hug. "Congratulations," Vince says with a big smile on his face. "Alright, let's go now," he laughingly adds.

Drew replies saying, "I'm ready!" He also tells McMahon, "Thank you sir. I appreciate everything you've done for me and my family."

McIntyre noted during the interview that Vince also told him it's "go time" in this conversation and he responded saying "it's f*cking go time" back.

For those who missed it, McIntyre has already chosen Brock Lesnar as his WrestleMania opponent.

In another clip from his upcoming WWE Chronicle special, McIntyre is shown sitting alone in a hallway reflecting on the win. "I've always been so close that I could touch it. Ya know, looking back, maybe I wasn't quite ready. Maybe I was. We'll never know. All I know for sure is that I'm beyond ready right now," he says. "The final pieces of the puzzle are just going into place right now of Drew McIntyre being what he was always supposed to be."

WWE Chronicle on Drew McIntyre premieres April 4 after NXT TakeOver: Tampa.
