Former Impact stars Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz have officially signed with WWE and are now training at the WWE Performance Center along with several other new recruits.
The signing of Xavier and Wentz had been heavily rumored for weeks but was finally announced Wednesday morning on WWE’s website.
Xavier and Wentz — real names Deveon Everheart Aiken and Zachary Green — were two thirds of the stable known as The Rascalz, who performed with numerous independent promotions as well as with Impact Wrestling. The third member of the team was Trey Miguel, who parted ways with Impact at the same time as his team mates but is yet to sign elsewhere.
The duo joins the Performance Center alongside four other new recruits:
- Alex Brandenburg, who was known on the indies as Alex Zayne
- Sojiru “Ikemen” a 26-year-old wrestler from Japan who was trained by WWE/ECW legend Tajiri
- Anriel Howard, a former college basketball player
- Russ Taylor, who was known on the indies as Ryan Taylor
Congrats to all the new signees!
