Dave Bautista and Titus O’Neil are putting their activism in motion by hosting a “Love Walk” across the city of Tampa next week.
The two men, who are both very passionate about political and social issues, will lead area business leaders, elected officials and families across the Fortune Taylor Bridge. Taylor was a former slave who once owned over 30 acres of land in the Tampa area in the 1800s. The bridge is a symbolic connection between white and Hispanic residents in West Tampa and Black residents in the East.
The walk will end at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, where a “Love Wall” will be unveiled, created by a local artist. Attendees are urged to bring water and wear masks.
The Love Walk is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to Noon next Saturday, June 27th.
