Darby Allin has proved himself to be a wildly talented performer in front of the camera, but he's also ready to show what he can do behind it.

In an interview on the "AEW Unrestricted" podcast, Allin revealed he wrote a movie that's just waiting to be made. "We're making a feature-length movie. We haven't started it yet because everything is going hectic right now," he said. "But I have the film crew and everything already ready."

The screenplay is a pivot for Allin, who initially wanted to produce documentaries. Years ago, he and a neighbor were going to produce a doc about Craigslist fetishes, but as Allin described, the neighbor "went to jail and I never saw him again."

Allin, who went to film school for a bit before dropping out, produces all of his own AEW video content with friend Max Yoder.

The film, which Allin describes as "a dark comedy," has been stewing for a while. "I've had this idea in my head forever," he said. "Now that I have (a) the money and (b) the time and everything like that, I'm just really excited."
