"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt's Universal title challenger at Royal Rumble has been made official.

During tonight's episode of SmackDown ... the Miz, Daniel Bryan and Baron Corbin competed in a triple-threat match to determine Wyatt's opponent at Royal Rumble – though it took awhile for the match to actually happen.

The match was supposed to take place at the top of the show, but Roman Reigns attacked Corbin before the bout and things were postponed. Baron then refused to take part in the match, so a one-on-one bout between Bryan and The Miz was set.

Their match didn't last long though, as Corbin's goons attacked and it was ruled a no contest.

After it was reported Reigns had left the building later in the night, Corbin agreed to take part in the triple-threat as planned, and the match finally happened in the main event.

The match ultimately came down to Bryan and Miz after Roman Reigns removed Corbin from competition, and Daniel made his opponent tap with the LeBell Lock to earn the victory.

Wyatt appeared on TitanTron from the Firefly Fun House set after the match was over and reminded Bryan that "The Fiend" isn't through with him yet.

Bryan will face Wyatt for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble on January 26 in Houston.
