Former WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins made an appearance Tuesday on the Comedy Central show "Drunk History"  ... but instead of getting hammered -- the wrestler was teaching how to hammerlock.

The show's host Derek Waters hit up various spots in New Jersey for the season 3 premiere ... including Create a Pro Wrestling Academy, which Hawkins -- aka Brian Myers -- has been running since the tail end of his run in WWE.

The "Drunk History" host attempted to learn a few wrestling moves during the segment ... with trainer Pat Buck doing most of the instruction. Waters even slipped into a singlet.
