Former WWE backstage interviewer Charly Caruso has secured a full-time position with sports network ESPN.
The new contract was announced by ESPN on Monday.
Caruso — real name Charly Arnolt — has been working with ESPN since 2018 and will continue to co-host the First Take, Her Take podcast. Arnolt will also contribute to First Take, SportsCenter and SportsNation.
“It is so incredibly exciting to become a full-time member of the ESPN family,” Arnolt said in a statement. “I look forward to continuing to grow with such a talented group of professionals and I can’t wait for all the opportunities that lie ahead.”
The multi-platform broadcaster began her WWE tenure in 2016. Initially, she fulfilled a variety of broadcast roles on the NXT brand, but she soon became a backstage interviewer on Raw.
Several outlets recently reported that Arnolt had quietly parted-ways with WWE a few weeks ago.
