Charlotte Flair has once again become NXT Women's Champion after defeating Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36.

The match kicked off the show and saw both competitors wrestle a hard-hitting, vocal, style. The finish came about after Charlotte, who had targeted her opponent's leg for most of the match, locked in the Figure 8 submission move causing Ripley to tap out.

No word on whether this means Charlotte will now be moving to the NXT brand for the time being, or pulling double duty on both NXT and RAW.

This is Flair's second NXT Women's title reign. Her first run with the belt in 2014 lasted 258 days. Ripley had been NXT Women's champion since December.
