Looks like we’ve got the answer as to how WWE will be dealing with both top men’s titles being on the same brand, because Brock Lesnar has “quit” Friday Night SmackDown.
Friday night’s program began with Brock coming to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman. Heyman then talked about the events that occurred in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel when Lesnar defeated Cain Velasquez and got attacked by Rey Mysterio afterward with a chair.
Heyman said Mysterio isn’t allowed to come to SmackDown because of the brand split though, so Brock hereby “quits” Friday Night SmackDown because he plans to go to RAW on Monday.
As you’ll recall, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt won the Universal title at Crown Jewel this week despite being a SmackDown brand wrestler – so the show won’t be without a champion.
