Time Splitters may have been eliminated from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in the first round, but it sounds like there's a chance we may see more of Alex Shelley in NXT.

As we previously reported, Shelley and Kushida were knocked out of the tournament last night by Zack Gibson and James Drake aka Grizzled Young Veterans.

The team were interviewed for WWE.com after the match and Shelley said, "We may have lost tonight, but quite frankly, we owe the NXT Universe a big thank you. We wouldn't be teaming together again if it weren't for them."

"So, NXT tag teams, we're putting you on blast, we're putting you on notice, I don't care where you're from," Alex Shelley continued. "I don't care if you're from Japan, Canada, Mexico, the UK, the US of A. Alex Shelley and Kushida we may have lost tonight, but I can guarantee you that our skills are the best, the number one, todo el mundo, in the world. And we'll prove it anytime."
