Undertaker threw some heavy shots at AJ Styles during a promo Monday night on Raw and "The Phenomenal One" has now responded to the verbal jab at his run in TNA.

In case you missed the promo ... Undertaker said his upcoming WrestleMania opponent was content being a big fish in a little pond back in the day because he knew he didn't have what it took to step in the ring with people like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero, Booker T and Edge.

During an interview this morning on "The Bump," however, Styles took umbrage with this statement and said his resume speaks for itself.

He then pointed out how he DID in fact wrestle against Kurt Angle in TNA (without mentioning the promotion by name) and said a lot of the guys who were in WWE came to where he was working too.

"Listen, I would've been there earlier if I could've. Sometimes things work out the way they do and, you know, it's a different time. Guys aren't as big as they used to be. Guys my size are given a chance, where back then they wouldn't even have been given a chance to get into the ring," he added. "So that's all a bunch of crap that The Undertaker said. I hope it makes himself feel better."
