Chris Jericho’s AEW World Championship appears to have been found by police.
As we previously reported, Jericho reported to police that the belt was stolen on Sunday after he left it in his limo while eating at a Longhorn Steakhouse.
Tallahassee PD shared a photo of one of their officers holding the belt on Wednesday via Facebook with the caption, “Chris Jericho, we have something that belongs to you. Celebrate with #ALittleBitOfTheBubbly (responsibly of course). More information to follow.”
In an odd twist, however, reporters who followed up with the police department for official details were told the investigation was still open and active.
While this might sound sketchy, AEW tweeted about their title being found not long after — which would imply they’ve been told it’s safe and sound.
