All Elite Wrestling will retire the current design of its TNT Championship belt to honor the legacy of its former holder Brodie Lee.

At the climax of this week's edition of Dynamite, Cody Rhodes and Tony Khan were joined in the ring by Brodie’s family. Khan gifted Brodie Jr. with the TNT Championship belt, and proclaimed him “TNT Champion for life.”

AEW commentator Tony Schiavone confirmed on the Dynamite post show that the belt's design has now been retired.

"Tony Khan has sent me a note. The particular belt that was given to [Brodie Lee Jr.] tonight has been retired. Not the TNT Championship itself, The belt was, rightfully so," Schiavone said.

As you might recall, Brodie Lee became the TNT Champion back in August when he easily beat Cody Rhodes for the title.

Lee challenged for the TNT title as part of another open challenge, but the big man was completely dominant in a match that saw him win the belt in quick fashion
