Details on AEW Dynamite Backstage Protocol Regarding Coronavirus Pandemic

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned AEW had required backstage protocol last night to combat the possible spread of coronavirus before filming Dynamite.

According to sources, talent got tested by a team of physicians yesterday before entering Daily’s Place in Jacksonville to be involved in the show. Just like with WWE’s Performance Center shows, this was a test to make sure those entering the building are in good health … not a coronavirus test.

We’re told talent could also only practice in the ring before the show in waves of people. The same rule applied for catering, the promo area and other frequented spots.

It’s worth noting, however, that the AEW wrestlers used as a replacement for fans did not appear to be practicing CDC and government recommendations regarding social distancing. The company also announced a lumberjack match for next week’s show, despite the same recommendations asking citizens to limit the amount of people gathering in close proximity.

  1. Your full of it Ryan Satin. There are 3 other stories here alone that state Aew’s testing procedures. Every person who enter the tapings is tested if they fail they arent allowed entry! Why wouls you have an incentive to say they arent testing like the WWe?
