The Exotic Express is about to embark on its final voyage because former WWE Superstar Adam Rose is officially retiring from professional wrestling.

"I want to announce my full time retirement from the wonderful world of professional wrestling. It's been one hell of a ride," Rose wrote on Instagram earlier today. "I will be fullfiling [sic] all dates currently booked but not taking any more bookings going forward. Thank you to the fans who supported me, the promoters who booked me, all the good brothers and sisters who worked with me," he continued.

Adding, "Mainly thank you to the [WWE] for letting a 9 year old South African boy live his dream. Many blessings and so much love to all. Goodbye and thank you."

The 39-year-old performed as Leo Kruger in NXT from 2010-2014 before debuting on the main roster as Adam Rose in 2014. He parted ways with WWE in 2016 and was never able to take off on the indies with various characters like he had hoped.
