WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Will Officially Debut Next Year (VIDEO)

Vince McMahon came down the chimney on Christmas Eve with a long-awaited gift for the WWE Universe — Women’s Tag Team Championships.

McMahon — clad in a full Santa Claus outfit — showed up in a pre-taped segment on Raw and made it official. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will debut in 2019.

It’s worth noting, however, that no extra information was given. Therefore it’s unclear which brand the new tag titles will be on, their exact debut date or any other question you may have.

Santa Vince also made the announcement that 16-time WWE Champion John Cena would be making his return to both Raw and Smackdown Live. For those who missed it, Cena recently said his upcoming return to WWE would not be televised … but it sounds like that has changed.

I would like Raw an Smackdown to have women’s tag belts its only right. And have them at Royal Rumble in January. Now that’s. Awesome for Business

  • Louis

They miss Cena. The company has not been the same without him. No top male stars at this moment.

We’re in the “falling out” era of Cena’s career… Just like Backlund, Hogan, Warrior, Macho, Bret, HBK, and Austin before him.
