Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed one of the lead writers on Raw was recently fired from WWE.

Fightful.com first reported Ryan Callahan was let go from his position as lead writer on Raw last week due to butting heads with Senior VP of Creative David Kapoor, formerly known as Ranjin Singh on WWE TV. We've confirmed this to be accurate with our sources.

One source claims this was not a response to lower ratings. Fightful reciprocated this in their report.

Callahan has been working for WWE since December 2016. He was a member of the home writing team that doesn't travel to events and previously worked on "The Bachelor" shows.

As we previously reported ... writer R.D. Evans and Brian James aka "Road Dogg" also recently exited the WWE creative team.
