For weeks there have been rumblings about Kimber Lee and Heidi Lovelace going to WWE … and now the company has confirmed that they’ve checked into the Performance Center.
WWE.com announced their arrival Wednesday saying, “Independent standouts Kimberly Frankele [Lee], Dori Prange [Lovelace] and MaryKate Duignan Glidewell, along with former mixed martial artist Julia Ho, reported for training this week in Orlando, Fla.”
Glidewell is former TNA wrestler Rosie Lottalove aka Andréa.
Lee commented on the news on Twitter today saying, “Life is incredible. Especially when you continue to push forward even when you feel like quitting. Here’s to the #NXT chapter”
As for Lovelace, she delivered an emotional farewell to the indy scene last month.
PWI ranked Lee and Lovelace at 17 and 20 on its 2016 list of the world’s top female grapplers. Needless to say, they are going to be fine additions to WWE’s increasingly talented pool of female wrestlers.
