Social media lit up with reactions from every female Superstar after the announcement of WWE's first women's only pay-per-view event set for October.

The event marks a new chapter in the story of women's wrestling. Two years ago, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks made history as the first females to main event a PPV event. As you might imagine, both view Evolution as an additional victory.

"I’ve stood in that ring Stephanie McMahon talked about. I felt the bond Triple H spoke about. I’m ready to make history with the strongest women I know," Charlotte tweeted. "Let’s do this, ladies."

"I called myself ‘The Boss’ because no one believed I would be," Banks tweeted. "If they didn’t want me in their club, I’d just make my own. We did it."

RAW women's champion Alexa Bliss agrees the show is a major accomplishment -- but added this goes far beyond the ring.

"For nearly 2 years, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of and represent the women’s divisions of RAW and Smackdown Live," Bliss tweeted. "Evolution is not just a victory for us. It’s a victory for women in EVERY sport."

For women like Natalya, who held down the division long before the women's evolution, the announcement brings great pride.

"So excited for the ALL WOMENS PPV!," the Queen of Hearts tweeted out. "Historical and guaranteed we will make it magical! So proud of how far we have come!"
