NJPW has announced Will Ospreay will be missing events on their upcoming tour due to a rib injury he recently suffered.

Ospreay was injured over the weekend at a Revolution Pro event apparently after landing wrong during a Pele kick. He was reportedly taken to the hospital for x-rays afterward, but tweeted saying was doing alright and just needed time to rest.

According to NJPW, that means he will miss events taking place during the Road to Power Struggle: Super Junior Tag League tour and be out of action until November 1.

NEVER Openweight champ Taichi will also be on the sidelines for this same period of time, but the company says their title match on November 3 in Osaka is still happening.

NJPW adds, "We apologize to fans who were looking forward to seeing both competitors wrestle, and appreciate your understanding."
