Evolution may have had an NXT TakeOver-like vibe last night, but that doesn't mean Triple H was running the show -- we're told Vince McMahon was still in charge from the gorilla position.
Sources tell us Vince was hands on as usual during the event, giving notes and making changes alongside Hunter, Stephanie McMahon, Michael Hayes, Road Dogg and other producers.
In addition to that, we're told Stephanie was beaming with pride backstage throughout the show.
Additional people who were backstage at the event include Vickie Guerrero and Eve Torres, as well as Christian and Finn Balor (according to PWInsider).
