The ROH World title will be defended at G1 Supercard next month in a triple threat ladder match.

As we previously reported, Marty Scurll was set to face the winner of Matt Taven vs. Jay Lethal following ROH's 17th Anniversary event this weekend ... but the match ended in a draw.

This was addressed the following day during TV tapings when Lethal hit the ring to call out Scurll for taking his title belt after the finish of the match. Taven came out instead and the two got into a war of words.

"The Villian" then hit the ring to give the title back to it's rightful champion as he cut a promo about their upcoming match in Madison Square Garden.

Lethal then proposed a triple threat match. Marty and Matt weren't thrilled at first, but when Jay said it would be a ladder match his opponents changed their tunes.

G1 Supercard takes place April 6 on PPV, Fite TV, Honor Club and NJPW World.
