Sasha Banks says she was unable to function recently due to concussion-related head pain -- and that's why she was taken off the road.

Banks talked about the injury on Conversations with Maria Menounos this week and said, "I was having head pain and I couldn't function. I couldn't even drive, I couldn't sleep, and I'm like 'I need to go get checked out.'"

"I went to several neurologists and they just pretty much told me I have post-concussion symptoms," she continued. "I was like, 'Am I gonna make Evolution?' I was really scared because we've been having a lot of concussion meetings with WWE about taking care of ourselves and head problems. And I was like, 'I'm not okay. I can't function. I can't wrestle. I can't drive. I can't sleep. I can't eat. So I need to get checked out."

Thankfully, Sasha says she's feeling better now and is ready for her match on Sunday where she'll team with Bayley and Natalya against The Riott Squad
