WWE's Ronda Rousey became the first female inducted into UFC's Hall of Fame on Thursday.

The former women's bantamweight champion accepted the honor at the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas. Rousey's speech largely focused on firsts: being the person to help start a women's division and ultimately the first hall of fame inductee.

"Because of you, I am the first woman standing up here accepting this incredible honor. May I be the first of many," Rousey told the crowd. “I look around and think ‘together we built this.’ This division. This sport. This revolution."

On Friday morning, Stephanie McMahon tweeted congratulations saying, "thank you for your fearless leadership and for changing the lives of girls and women everywhere!"

Rousey is currently serving a storyline suspension. She continues to work house shows and is slated to appear later this month at WWE's Extreme Rules event.
