Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed Rich Swann was taken to the hospital last night due to a head-related injury that took place during MLW's Battle Riot event.

PWInsider first reported Swann was taken via ambulance after his match for what was believed to be a bad concussion.

Sources tell us the injury seems to have occurred when Rich hit his head on the guardrail during a routine spot that ended awkwardly.

After getting checked out by the onsite doctor, we're told it was recommended he go to the hospital.

According to sources, the wrestler appears to be doing better today. While his status for Slammiversary hasn't been made official, one would think it would be difficult to get cleared from a concussion by Sunday. PWInsider reports Impact is already working on a replacement.

Stay tuned.
