Ric Flair's wife says the surgery he was scheduled to undergo has been postponed until next week.

Wendy Barlow shared a statement saying: "Ric's surgery has been postponed until Monday to address some complications that needed to be taken care of first. Thanks for the well wishes."

As we previously reported, Flair was taken to an Atlanta area ER on Thursday. We’re told Flair has been dealing with some heart issues as of late, but there's been conflicting reports as to whether or not that was the reason for his trip to the hospital this week.

Barlow previously told TMZ, “Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.”

Flair's son-in-law Conrad Thompson stated on a media call that the procedure was planned ahead of time before Ric’s upcoming roast in Las Vegas next week at Starrcast. It's unclear if the complications and postponement mean he'll now be unable to appear at the event.
