Wrestling legend Ric Flair was rushed to an emergency room this morning.

According to TMZ, Flair was taken to an emergency room in the Atlanta area on Thursday.

One source close to the situation tell us Flair has been dealing with some heart issues as of late and his trip to the ER this morning was in relation to that. His son-in-law Conrad Thompson stated today on a media call that the trip to the hospital was planned ahead of time before Ric's upcoming roast in Las Vegas, but we're told it was more serious than he is letting on.

As you'll recall, the WWE Hall of Famer was hospitalized in 2017. He had been having heart related issues prior to his hospitalization at the time and his organs shut down once he arrived, but he miraculously made a recovery.

Flair was last in the hospital back in March and sources at the time said it wasn't a serious operation. He was last on WWE TV at WrestleMania 35 during the match between Triple H and Batista.

UPDATE: Ric Flair's wife has released a statement saying he's expected to make a full recovery.
