"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair says WWE requested his presence at their upcoming Evolution event ... but he's not big on the location.

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch were featured on the latest episode of Ride Along -- which was filmed prior to the current SmackDown Women's Champion turning on her friend -- and included a funny phone call from Ric.

"They want me to come to Evolution," he informed the duo. "Why would they have me at Evolution? Better be something big." Adding, "I hate Long Island ... I don't know about you guys."

When his daughter reminded him they're on camera, Flair jokingly repeated his hate for Long Island.
