An endorsement from Ric Flair on the website of his former agent has been removed after she received a written request from his lawyer demanding it be taken down.

Melinda Morris Zanoni -- who was fired in September following Ric's health scare -- had still been featuring Nature Boy's image on her site with a quote supposedly from him saying:

Legacy Talent is the greatest agency in the country and Melinda is the ultimate brand-maker. She is the smartest, most professional person I have ever been involved with in my entire life and she micro-manages my career to perfection. Anyone who is fortunate to work with her will go a long way in life.

However ... sources tell us Ric claims he never said that -- he believes Melinda wrote it herself -- so his attorney sent a letter demanding she take it off her site, which eventually happened.

In addition, we're told Flair is also unhappy Zanoni claims to have published his recent book when a simple search on Google shows it was published by St. Martin's Press.

To be the man, you've gotta beat the man (even on the internet).

NOTE: Yes, this is the same woman he's already suing for allegedly stealing his "30 for 30" money.
