WWE has named Renee Young a full-time member of the Raw announce team -- making her the first woman to take on a permanent role in the WWE broadcast booth.

Young has been with WWE since 2012 -- largely serving as a backstage interviewer and occasional host. She's currently part of the Mae Young Classic commentary team on WWE Network.

Earlier this summer, Young filled in on the Raw commentating team while Jonathan Coachman was away on other duties. Her performance was met with rave reviews.

She'll join the team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves starting tonight.

With Young in, that means "The Coach" is out. The former ESPN Sportscenter host will now serve as the lead broadcaster on WWE's pay-per-view kickoff shows. Coachman's new duties will begin this Sunday at WWE's Hell in a Cell event.
