Just when you thought you’d seen it all in wrestling, last night’s episode of Impact featured a segment in which a child was shown being “run over” by The OGz.
In case this needs clarifying, the segment was obviously scripted and not real. It’s not often you see something like this in wrestling though, so it was worth sharing.
The segment began with Konnan, Santana and Ortiz hanging out with their friends on the side of the street celebrating their success. As this is happening, we see The OGz angrily en route.
LAX then give their tag team titles to a young child named Ritchie.
At this point, Konnan says he’s got a gift in the car for everyone — including Ritchie — so the whole group begins to cross the street. That seemingly ends in death, however, when the OGz attempt to run everyone over with a car and only hit little Ritchie is hit.
The segment closes out with a POV from the dying child’s eyes and the group freaking out.
Don Callis and Josh Mathews then discuss the child being run over on commentary before running down the card for next week’s Redefined special.
Watch the segment below.
We don't even know what to say. This is too far. There has to be a line. The OGz will do anything to get to LAX. This is retaliation on a horrific level. #IMPACTonPop @MadKing1981 @Ortiz5150 @SantanaLAX @Konnan5150 pic.twitter.com/kPDHeutsbc
