Pro Wrestling Sheet obtained a sneak peak of two recipes from “The Official WWE Cookbook” before the book’s release, and these dishes will surely spice up any Royal Rumble party.
As we previously reported, the book will feature more than 75 recipes inspired by your favorite WWE Superstars and Legends — including Sasha Banks and Roddy Piper.
The description for Salsa Banks is as follows:
The colorful K-pop-loving Banks would approve of kicking up the spice in this salsa with a punch of gochujang, a fermented hot pepper paste from Korea. If you can’t find it at your local market, sriracha is a good substitute.
This dish requires 5 large vine-ripened tomatoes, 3 scallions, 2 large cloves garlic (minced), 1 large red bell pepper (cored and chopped), ⅓ cup finely chopped cilantro, Juice of 1 lime and 1 tablespoon gochujang. It also doesn’t take very long to make.
The second recipe is for “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Pepper Poppers.
- 1 pound baby bell peppers (about 24)
- ½ pound ground beef
- ½ pound ground pork
- 1½ cups bread crumbs, divided
- ¼ cup ice water
- ¾ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1½ cups shredded Irish or Scottish cheddar cheese
