NXT Superstars FINALLY Arrive in New York After Being Stranded at the Airport

“No Sleep Till Brooklyn” became very literal for NXT yesterday, because most of the NXT Superstars didn’t arrive in New York until early this morning due to being stranded at the airport.

While most of the internet was abuzz with Adam Cole being spotted with the crew, it wasn’t initially obvious that they were all stuck with flight delays because of bad weather in New York.

Head Coach Matt Bloom tweeted in the middle of the delays, “You can delay our flight, but you can’t delay history. We are coming home, #NXTTakeover Brooklyn III.”

The crew tried to make the most of their delay. Johnny Gargano, Trent Seven and No Way Jose recreated Aleister Black’s entrance and Gargano filming a video with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce where he despondently declared “No, we live here now!”

After multiple delays and a stop through Atlanta, the crew finally made it to New York at 4:50 a.m.

Ember Moon tweeted after landing, “Almost 19+ hours later but we have arrived.  Told ya it would take more than that to keep me from @wwenxt.
