Nia Jax opened up in a new interview about the night she accidentally busted Becky Lynch's face on Raw and what happened afterward

As you'll recall, an errant swing from Jax gave Lynch a concussion and caused her to bleed heavily due to a broken nose during an invasion angle.

Speaking with Bleacher Report, Nia said her first stop after the incident was to check on Becky to make sure she was ok. Jax then found Vince McMahon to make sure he was comfortable with what had occurred, which he was.

"Everything's an opportunity in our business, whether you think it is or not," Jax told the publication. "When the incident with Becky happened, it probably was one of those moments that I really was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is a huge turning point in my career. This could go extremely horribly for me and might be the end of my career. Or we can turn this into something pretty cool for not just me, but for others that are involved.'"

For her next steps, Nia says she took inspiration from a scene in the movie "The Campaign" starring Will Ferrell. His character accidentally punches a baby. He then responds by complaining about nobody asking how his hand feels.

This prompted Nia's tweet about her fist which set the internet in a flurry.

Fan outcry got so bad that Nia's coworkers began sending her text messages to check in on her and she even sought advice from The Rock. He advised Jax to make the situation work to her advantage. She also received advice from Ric and Charlotte Flair.

"At the moment, I know it sucks. But look what it's done for Becky. Look what it's done for me," Charlotte told Nia. "Look what it's done for you as a heel."

"I didn't really think of it that way when I was getting told to go die and never come out of my hole again," Jax says about the advice. "Some of the tweets really were going off the rails. But when she put it in that perspective, I started to think about it differently. Now, it's something that people will remember forever. It was crazy, but it turned into something pretty cool."
