New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada has closed one giant door in his career ... telling Rolling Stone he has no interest in ever working for WWE -- the biggest wrestling company on the planet.

During a recent interview Okada said, "I'm not interested in WWE at all. Many people ask me about WWE, and if I'd go to WWE in the future. They ask me if I'm going now. I will not go."

Instead, the 27 year-old claims he's focused on making NJPW a more popular promotion ... and he's hoping to bring a weekly live wrestling show from Japan to American TV.

Something tells us Okada's crappy TNA run may have influenced his decision.
