Rumors surrounding Matt Riddle's future in wrestling have been running rampant all week and the former UFC fighter addressed them in a new interview.

Riddle was a guest on the latest episode of X-Pac12360 and it wasn't long before the elephant in the room was addressed. "I'm in a really good position right now," he explained. "I work with EVOLVE on a regular basis and they have a great relationship with WWE."

Matt went on to say he ran into some issues in the past regarding moving forward in wrestling -- describing himself as "stuck in a spot" -- but now his situation is changing.

"From what I've gathered and what I've heard from everybody, everybody is at the point where they all want me," the wrestler continued. "And I think they're all big fans of Matt Riddle. I think it's my time to make the right decision, do it and let's see what happens."

As we previously reported, Matt Riddle has started pulling out of indie dates -- including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

X-Pac asked Matt later in the interview who he'd like to wrestle in NXT, if he were to sign with them. Riddle answered Undisputed Era, Aleister Black, Tomasso Ciampa and Ricochet.

The 32-year-old also admitted that he's not quite ready for TV and needs to work on a few things before being brought up to the big time in front of the masses.
