WWE Confirms Lio Rush Has Signed a Deal, Began Training Today at the Performance Center

lio rush signs wwe contract deal performance center

It’s official! WWE has announced that ex-ROH wrestler Lio Rush signed a contract with the company and reported for duty this morning at the Performance Center.

WWE.com first reported the news and referred to Lio joining NXT as a “blockbuster signing.”

Rush isn’t the only former ROH wrestler to join the company. Adam Cole debuted in NXT over the weekend by attacking Drew McIntyre after he defeated Bobby Roode to capture the title.

One source tells us the deal has been in the works for quite some time.

Too bad. I would have loved to see Lio in GFW. It would have been awesome to see him compete in the X-Division.

    Bad move, Lio.
